Winter is a season of chilly winds and rain. To face this season, it is important to prepare yourself and your surroundings to stay warm. Most people like to drink coffee or tea to raise their body temperature while others prefer to emit a warm aura from our bodies and create a pleasant aroma in their surroundings.

Warm and Spicy Fragrances
These scents are not only modern scents from the world’s most reputable fashion houses. There are many classic warm and spicy fragrances such as Calvin Klein Obsession for Men. With a strong emphasis on cinnamon and amber with added citrus top note, this fragrance is every bit as the name suggests and is still a popular choice now as it was back in 1986. The spicy cardamom and woody base intertwined with a sweet lavender top note and a powdery trail make for a very modern yet sophisticated masculine scent. This is a well-balanced scent with a top note of sweet, juicy orange which leads into a warm and spicy base with hints of sandalwood. Warm and spicy fragrances are perfect for the cold, winter months.
Woody and Earthy Fragrances
Wood and earth fragrances are a stark contrast to flip-flop, grass and anything associated with outdoors wear. But this doesn’t mean that they aren’t suitable. Woody fragrances are versatile in the fact that they give off a clean, but warm scent. They are a great choice for wearing something out of the shower besides the typical aquatic scents. They add a bit of complexity to a clean scent, so if you’re going out and you want to give a good impression, these can be a good choice. A good wood scent can even accent an evening with a significant other in which a warm embrace is desired.
Oriental and Amber Fragrances
Oriental fragrances are often known as the “original fragrances” because they consist of the most unique scent for a fragrance. They possess a heavy, exotic, and spicy scent that is made up of earthy notes mixed with vanilla, musk, and other resins. They are both sweet and spicy, nearly to the point of being pungent to the senses. This type of fragrance makes a strong statement and is only recommended for the mature, confident male. The scent is suited for cold weather and evening wear. Oriental fragrances are broken down into subcategories: Floral, Spicy, Vanilla, and Woody. Amber fragrances have a warm, resinous, and honey-like tone that is quite sensual. The aroma is almost edible and gives off a cozy feeling. The fragrance is made up of an accord with vanilla, tonka bean, labdanum, benzoin, and other resins.
