She was remembering her late husband Shona Ferguson’s 48th birthday, which fell on April 30th. The actress expressed her thoughts on social media in a lengthy post that had her fans and following chopping onions under the hashtag #TheShoGoesOn.
He was a kind and loving man, she said. “We honor you, God’s man!” We praise God for the time we spent with you! What an impression you left! The lives you have impacted and continue to influence! You were and still are a one-of-a-kind individual! Mr Sho, you will never be forgotten! EVER! Live, Love, and Leave Your Mark! That’s precisely what you’ve done! She wrote, “May you continue to rest in peace, my dear, and may your legacy go on forever!”

In honor of his birthday, the Ferguson family, in collaboration with the Ferguson Foundation, will establish the inaugural #ShonaFergusonDay to honor his long life and legacy by supporting a charity cause.

The Foundation, which was founded by Shona and Connie with the goal of empowering disadvantaged individuals in African society through business, education, film, and ultimately building industry leaders, will visit Emdeni Skills Centre in Soweto to help paint the center and maintain the infrastructure.
