Dark spots are a problem and it can be difficult to have them removed. However, home remedies that contain natural ingredients may help lighten those spots on your legs. Here are 5 home remedies to remove dark spots on legs:
Potato Rub
It is believed that catecholase, an enzyme in potatoes, can lighten skin. To use this remedy, you must slice a potato and rub it over your legs for 15 minutes then wash the areas.
Coconut and Lemon juice.
Lemons are packed with vitamin C, which may help treat hyperpigmentation. Coconut oil can serve as a moisturizer, and it may help keep your legs soft and supple. To make this remedy, mix a few tablespoons of coconut oil with the lemon juice and apply on the legs.
Sugar Scrubs
Sugar can help exfoliate the skin. Therefore, combine fresh lemon juice with a teaspoon of sugar and a tablespoon of honey then gently apply onto your legs. There after, you may use premade sugar scraps to remove the scraps.

Oatmeal Yoghurt Scrubs
According to Health Line, Oatmeal can treat inflammatory skin conditions. Therefore, to create your own oatmeal scrub, you should make a paste with equal parts oatmeal and plain yogurt and apply the paste on the spots.
Baking Soda and Water Paste
Baking soda may help lighten and exfoliate your skin, but it should be used with caution. Therefore, if you want to try this remedy you must make a paste of equal parts of baking soda and water, then apply a thin layer to the legs and leave it for 15 minutes then rinse.
