Chocolate Covered Banana Pops
Banana pops make a great healthy snack made from 4 simple ingredients and are a kid-friendly addition to any occasion. Get your kids involved in making and decorating their own customizable sweet treat. Ingredients include:
- 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 3 tablespoons coconut oil (liquid)
- 3 ripe bananas
- Sprinkles , chopped peanuts, coconut flakes (any topping of your choice)
- Popsicle sticks
Cut your bananas into half and insert a popsicle stick into each half and freeze for about 30 minutes. In a microwave safe bowl, send your chocolate and coconut oil for a spin in the microwave, stir until smooth. Dip each banana into the chocolate, sprinkle with your favourite topping. Lastly, freeze the banana pops for about 20 minutes.

Brown sugar & cinnamon popcorn
This is a perfect afterschool treat for the kids. All you need is these simple ingredients:
- 50g butter
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1/3 cup popcorn
To make the popcorn, pour the oil into a large saucepan with a lid and heat for about 2 minutes over high heat. Add the corn when the oil is ready and cover with a lid. Constantly shake the pan to keep the corn moving and ensuring that they have all popped. When the popping slows down, remove the popcorn into a large mixing bowl. Cook the butter in a small sauce pan over medium heat until its completely melted, stir in the brown sugar and cinnamon for about 3 minutes. Pour the mixture over the popcorn, then serve!
