Miss South Africa is a leadership platform for ambitious young South African women.Through a pageantry process, contestants receive world-renowned coaching in addition to
advanced networking, business, and life skills. They become champions of women’s rights
and inspire other South Africans to full-fill their potential.
Former Miss SA title holders Tamaryn Green and Basetsana Kumalo along with TV and
radio personality Dineo Ranaka will be among the panel of judges at the eagerly awaited
Miss South Africa 2021 finale.
They will also be joined by the reigning Miss Universe Andrea Meza, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, The Queen actress Shannon Esra as well as Mamokgheti Phakeng the vice chancellor of the University of Cape Town.
South African television personality, beauty pageant titleholder, businesswoman, and philanthropist, Basetsana Kumalo who will be joining this year’s selection panel. Revealed what she will be looking in the winner:“A young woman who has a clear vision of her life path , understands the world we live in and has an opinion of key issues impacting society and the world at large. A woman who has a sense of community and is not afraid to challenge the status quo. Someone who is uniquely and authentically themselves.”

Another phenomenal woman, UCT Vice-Chancellor Professor Mamokgheti Phakeng said: “I will be looking for a smart young woman with a memorable presence , magnetic personality and clear vision for how they will take advantage of the opportunity to use the Miss South Africa platform to make a sustainable societal impact. The top ten finalists competing for the Miss SA title are Zimi Mabunzi , Lalela Mswane, Jeanni Mulder, Kgothatso Dithebe, Catherine Groenewald, Moratwe Masima, Cheneil
Hartzenberg , Bianca Bezuidenhout, Tiffany Francis, and Kaylan Matthews.
The winner is set to take home a package of prizes and sponsorships worth more than R4m
when she takes the crown from reigning Miss SA Shudufhadzo Musinda.

Furthermore, the newly announced Miss SA will receive R1m in cash from the Miss South
Africa Organisation, as well as the use of fully furnished and serviced apartment at the
luxurious Central Square Sandton, with fabulous interior décor by Vursa and a Mercedes
Benz C-Class Sedan for the year of her reign.
The event will be live streamed from 5pm on M-Net(DStv Channel 101) and Mzansi Magic
(DStv Channel 161) and streamed online for an international audience on MissSA.live.
